Tower 3.0 is part of the Redstone Tower Complex (RTC) Sector
Tower 3.0 is the larger of the two towers. It boasts 19 full floors, and a huge underground industry complex which houses the RTC Reactor.
Industry Complex
Floor -1 of Tower 3.0 (chiefly known as the Industry Complex) is a huge part of the tower. Apart from housing the RTC Reactor, it also houses the IMS storage and farm systems.
IMS storage
The IMS (short for Intelligent Minecart System) storage situated in the industry complex serves as the main storage for all of RTC. The main operating principle is the same as the other IMS storage systems, where a hopper minecart enters the system containing a paper (which gives it a designated address) and an item (which the storage system effectively “duplicates” by accessing storage). This minecart, once it arrives at the appropriate storage output, collects 167 (2 stacks + 39) of the item that it entered storage with (meaning that it leaves storage with 168 of that item).
The storage itself is categorized into (mostly) creative menu tabs, and has the largest variety of items out of all of the sectors.
Storage caches
Storage caches were originally implemented in the first IMS system (known as DMS) in Founding Island but were generally considered janky or not properly implemented. However, due to the size of Tower 3.0, caches were re-implemented to reduce storage access times. The first cache was implemented in the Industry Complex factory area, where the cache contained bone meal, wheat, and cocoa beans.
Caches essentially act as a small storage, and can also be used to reduce the complexity of the redstone at the destination where the items ultimately end up.
Lounge / Landing Point (Floor 0)
This floor has limited functionality, but serves as a small transportation hub for the tower. This floor gives access to the FI-RTC tunnelsystem, which connects to Founding Island, Tower 2, and the Reborn X Museum. There is also access to U2 branch 2, known as the “FI bypass” track which directly links the spawn area with Tower 3.0. There are also two seperate staircases to the Industry Complex floor, one is located on the east side of the floor (just outside the lounge area), and the other is located in the U2 branch 2 station. It also features a staircase up to Floor 1, and access to the oldest room in FI as well as RTC Courtyard 1 (the area above the oldest room) and the outside area of RTC island.
(Lower) Lobby (Floor 1)
This floor is primarily decorative, and serves as a “lobby” for the tower, featuring ground-level entrances/exits, RCorp rail, and a bridge to Tower 2 Floor 1.5.
The ground entrance area features a direct path to the Forsaken Quay, which serves as a boat entrance/exit, and in lore is considered dangerous. There is a military report at this location. There is also a direct bridge to the Reborn X Museum nearby this as well. In the room opposite to the Forsaken Quay door, there is also a tunnel connecting to the Tower 2 coast area via another dangerous tunnel, which has another military report.
There is also access to the tunnel area connected with Floor 0, which has a staircase to the Industry Complex as well as a tunnel to Tower 2 and the outdoor RTC island area.
Tower 3.0 Commons (Floor 2)
The commons floor in Tower 3.0 connects to the commons floor in Tower 2 via a pedway and serves as a lounge area, and a reception. It features a map of the tower (pictured) along with a librarian villager, who serves as a receptionist.
The east side of the floor features a unfinished (as of 2026) museum area (built before Reborn X, started by GratefulName in July 2024), with display areas for pictures as well as a small mini-model of the RTC towers. There is also access to a balcony which has a staircase down to the outdoor RTC island area.
