What is Reborn?
Before getting into Reborn X, it is important to understand what Reborn actually means.
Project Redstoneworld was originally started by TheJoCraft in 2013 as a build project. In 2016, the project got a new leader, Ij, marking an important point in Redstoneworld’s history. During this period, Redstoneworld began developing into the larger project it is today. The world was moved to America and was translated to English. Tower 1 was completed, and many of the foundations for the future of Redstoneworld were established. This new stage became known as Reborn. The name represented the continuation and rebuilding of Redstoneworld under its new owner, Ij. Reborn X continues this era after nearly ten years of Reborn. Through the Reborn X Museum, we aim to preserve and present the history of Redstoneworld and the many developments that have shaped it along the way.
Reborn X
Reborn X was a major Redstoneworld event which took place on July 10th, 2026 that celebrated ten years of the Reborn era. The event included the opening of the Reborn X Museum, new minigames, an Announcement Special, and extensive preparation and follow-up work regarding the event.
Event
The Reborn X event brought together several projects that had been prepared specifically for the occasion. The main part of the event was the opening of the Reborn X Museum, created to preserve and present the history of Redstoneworld.
At 11:00 CT (16:00 UTC), the Reborn X Announcement Special was released, and a watch party was hosted in the Discord VC.
At 12:00 CT (17:00 UTC), the Reborn X Museum was fully opened, allowing public access to the exhibits for the first time, as well as the rest of the Reborn X features.
The event also introduced the opening of Minigame Center, which included several games including spleef, parkour and tag (games are still being added to the minigame center after the fact). The Curator also became available during the event, giving players a new way to interact with the museum and its content. Both of these were opened at 12:00 CT.
A large amount of preparation went into the event before its opening, with additional development and work continuing afterwards to finish projects and complete the remaining details. Reborn X therefore covered a wider period of preparation, activities, and follow-up work rather than being limited to the event itself.
Group Photo
Rather than a public group photo open to all visitors of the server, the group photo was staff-only and was taken on June 20th, 2026 just after 12:00 CT (despite being scheduled for 11:00 CT, delayed because Ij had to pick up his girlfriend). The reason behind making the group photo private was because the purpose of Reborn X was to honour the staff team’s efforts in developing the map. Every staff member that was unable to attend was replaced by an NPC.
Reborn X Museum

Reborn X Museum was the main project of the Reborn X event and was created as a monument to Redstoneworld’s history. It showcases all seven RW Chapters, major projects and sectors, along with a map, images, posters, and other historical material. The museum also includes a dedicated Project Exhibition covering major projects such as Tower 1, Redstone Tower Complex (RTC) Sector, RCorp Rail, Theme Park, and the museum itself. The basement contains additional exhibits, the museum credits, and The Curator, an interactive character focused on Redstoneworld lore.
The museum was proposed in March 2026, built over the following months, and officially opened on July 10th, 2026 as part of the Reborn X event.
The Curator
The Curator was introduced as part of Reborn X through the Curator Lore. During the event, players could interact with The Curator and receive different tasks to complete.
These tasks gradually revealed more of The Curator’s story and gave players an additional storyline to follow during Reborn X. Each task involved retrieving a total of seven items around the Redstoneworld map (one for each chapter of Redstoneworld), each of which revealed a video (known as a fragment). The Curator Lore chronologically takes place before the (as of 2026) work in progress Redstory lore.
