Redstoneworld Coalition
Role
The Redstoneworld Coalition’s goal is to provide fair and just moderation decisions. These decisions can range from banning a player, approving staff applications to making changes to permissions.
The Coalition was also created so that Ij could receive additional input from some of his most trusted staff members when making important decisions. This gives him the opportunity to hear different opinions and consider different perspectives before making a final decision.
Any vote made by the Coalition can still be vetoed by Ij.
Project Planning
The Coalition is also responsible for planning many of Redstoneworld’s major projects, from the initial idea all the way to development and release. This includes deciding how projects should be organized, who should be involved, and what needs to be completed before a project can be released. This was first applied to the Redstone Tower Complex
The Coalition has also been involved in wider changes to how Redstoneworld is run. This includes creating the Emergency Protocol, which defines how the staff should respond to serious or urgent situations.
Another major change made by the Coalition was changing the staff application process. New applicants are now required to complete a building test as part of the application process, allowing their building ability to be considered before they are accepted into the staff team.
Formation
The full name of the Coalition is the Anti-Council Coalition, or ACC for short.
Before the Coalition and the Redstoneworld Civil War, the Redstoneworld Council served a similar purpose. However, several people within the Council began acting against what was considered to be the best interest of the server. This eventually led to the formation of the Anti-Council Coalition.
The Coalition was formed as a response to the situation surrounding the Council and became an important part of the events leading into the Civil War. It brought together several trusted members who wanted to change how certain decisions were being handled within Redstoneworld.
Although the Coalition was originally formed in opposition to the Council, its role later developed into providing input and helping with important decisions across Redstoneworld.
